There's not a better way to welcome the holidays than with Champagne. This is now a tradition of mine to
host a Champagne tasting around this time of year. We tasted all of these wines blind and the rich Bollinger
came out on top, with some people preferring the Laurent-Perrier 1996. The Piper and Schramsberg are to
me two of the best sparklers in their price range. This was lots of fun, and always insightful (and sometimes
humbling) to taste wines blind. This particular tasting turned into quite a party at the end, and made it very
enjoyable!
