This was the second in a series of 3 wine tastings focusing on California wines and wine regions.
I was really amazed at the quality of all of these wines, from the simple, delicious and unoaked
$14 Four Vines, to the incredible intensity, minerality and superb balance of the rather pricey
HdV. California Chards are still oaky, but they really wear it well in these examples. I guess we
got lucky on 7/7/07.
